Papa John's CEO -- whose company made $318.6 million in revenue in the past three months -- says Obamacare will cost pizza prices to rise

Yes, you read that correctly. The pizza empire made $318.6 million in revenue in Q2 of 2012, but they’re passing the cost of insuring their employees onto you. Papa John’s says that the financial burden of giving health insurance to the people who breathe on your food could cost a staggering 14 cents per pie. 14 cents! That’s like… WOW ALMOST FUCKING NOTHING. It’s bullshit that a ridiculously profitable company would pass health insurance costs onto consumers, but for 14 cents, fuck. Raise prices a quarter and throw in dental and vision.

Their CEO threw a Romney fundraiser in May, so, you know. Stop ordering from them. Buy local pizza. I’m happy to support a business that’s complying with the ACA and giving their employees health insurance, but I’m not OK with having my pizza money funnel into Romney’s campaign.
